UNICEF Africa - The Joint Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development

The Joint Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development is a biennial event that brings together members of the Associations of Social Work to exchange experiences, explore current trends, and share best practices in the field of social work worldwide. Under the theme Harambee – Sustainable Shared Futures, delegates from around the world engaged in meaningful discussions, shared innovative ideas, build lasting connections, and explored solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing today. This event took place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 26 - 29 June 2026.

Trans.Lieu was engaged by UNICEF Africa to capture the sessions and discussions across those 4 days conference through a set of photographs, as well as produce a daily video snippet with key highlights.
