World Health Organization - Small and Sick Newborn Care manuals
WHO coordinates the ACS-IR (Implementation Research to Scale-up and Evaluate the Impact of Antenatal Corticosteroids on Preterm Newborn Outcomes) project. The ACS-IR initiative aims to increase the safe, population-level coverage of life-saving antenatal corticosteroids for women experiencing early preterm birth in low- and middle-income countries. It is actively implemented across high-burden countries like Ethiopia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
Trans.Lieu was engaged to develop the style, design and layout of a set of 3 small and sick newborn care manuals: champions manual, implementation manual and mentor-facilitator manual. The manuals can be downloaded here:
