UNICEF Africa - The UNITED! Movement
The UNITED! Movement brings together young people living with HIV (Y+Global) and young people campaigning for sexual reproductive health and rights into one movement in Eastern and Southern Africa. UNICEF, through the 2gether 4 SRHR programme, is supporting youth-led networks, including those who have joined the UNITED! Movement.
The best way to support young people (those most affected) is to listen to their experiences and build programmes around their needs. Young people are already leading change in many inspiring and effective ways. We must support their agency to exercise informed choices over their health, bodies, and futures.
Trans.Lieu assisted with the video editing of a set of five social media video snippets, highlighting young leaders explaining their experiences, approaches and impacts.
